Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Introduction

KyediX ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our medication management application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly, including:

  • Account information: Email address and name when you create an account (via email and password or Google sign in).
  • Medication data: Medication names, dosages, frequencies, prescriber information, pharmacy details, and related health information you enter.
  • Allergies: Drug and non drug allergies, reactions, and severity levels you record.
  • Vitals: Blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar, weight, and mood entries you log.
  • Visits: Doctor visit dates, clinician names, locations, and reconciliation notes you create.
  • Caregiver connections: Email addresses of caregivers you invite and the permissions you grant them.
  • Optional voice input: When you tap a microphone button, your device speech recognition service processes what you say. KyediX receives the resulting transcript and sends it to our command processing service so it can structure the reminder action or vital entry for your review. KyediX does not intentionally save an audio recording.

Information we do NOT collect:

  • Date of birth
  • Social Security Number or government issued IDs
  • Insurance or billing information (subscription billing is handled by Stripe and never touches our database)
  • Home address or phone number
  • Medical record numbers

3. Authentication

KyediX supports sign in via Google OAuth and email and password. When you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address and display name. We never see or store your Google password. For email and password accounts, your password is securely hashed by our authentication provider and is never stored in plain text.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

  • Provide and maintain the KyediX service
  • Send medication reminders and notifications you configure
  • Enable caregiver access features you authorize
  • Generate medication lists, wallet cards, and PDF exports you request

  • Send essential account communications (password resets, security alerts)
  • Improve our service and fix technical issues

We never sell your personal or health data to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry standard encryption. Our storage platform provides:

  • Encryption at rest and in transit (HTTPS and TLS)
  • Row level security policies ensuring only you and caregivers you authorize can access your data
  • SOC 2 Type II compliance

6. Data Sharing

We only share your data in the following circumstances:

  • Caregivers you authorize: When you invite a caregiver and grant them view or edit permissions.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Service providers: With trusted providers who help us operate the service, such as hosting, authentication, payment processing, device speech recognition, and AI command processing.

9. Children's Privacy

KyediX is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy
